Today is October 21st, 2017 -
Tzedek is Hebrew for “justice,” and Tzedek@Sinai is Temple Sinai’s social justice community, building relationships to have an impact on timely and relevant social justice issues.
Our current advocacy priorities are climate change, criminal justice reform, and immigration. We are building a team for health care access.
In addition to our advocacy work, we host Tzedek Sundaes, offering ice cream alongside education about social justice topics. The Sundaes are on select Sunday afternoons throughout the year. All are welcome!
Temple Sinai is a member of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO), working with congregations around the city to organize local power to fight for social justice. We join with fellow GBIO congregations in conversations with elected officials about five key justice issues: criminal justice reform; housing; education; gun safety; and health care cost containment.
