Our School

At Temple Sinai, we are proud of the educational network established to enrich our children from their very youngest years through Bar and Bat Mitzvah , Confirmation and beyond. school photoOur curriculum emphasizes the basics of Torah, Hebrew reading and comprehension skills, social action, and Jewish studies. We cultivate a hands-on approach to learning, with parents taking an active role with children at family events and Shabbat services.

The curriculum also contains ample opportunities for students of all ages to perform acts of chesed, or kindness. For 2011 – 2012, we are proud to participate in B’nai TELEM, a social justice and service learning program for b’nai mitzvah students, sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council.  As part of the program, students will serve as reading tutors and homework helpers at the West End House in Allston.  It is our hope that your children’s sense of Jewish identity will be strengthened and clarified through their participation in our program.
