Temple Sinai in Brookline welcomes the community to a facilitated discussion “Advancing Social Justice in Israel,” on social justice issues in Israel, on Sunday, March 11th at 1:30 pm.  The session will begin with a viewing of a video on several specific issues followed by a discussion led by Monica Brettler of the New Israel Fund. Founded in 1979, the New Israel Fund advances civil rights and social justice for all Israelis, using a philanthropic approach to try to address Israel’s complex social issues. The fund gives grants to a number of international non-profit organizations to advance civil and human rights, social and economic justice, and religious pluralism and tolerance.
