| High Holy Days
In the days when it was hard to calculate the dates of holidays outside of the land of Israel, it became customary in the Jewish Diaspora to celebrate Rosh Hashana and the festivals for two days. As the calendar is no longer a mystery, we have returned to single-day observances of these holidays. The schedule of services for these occasions can be found in the Sinai News.
