KAREN HALFON, K'tonton Pre-School
Karen Halfon, an occupational therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center, is embarking upon her twentieth year here at Temple Sinai.
RACHEL EISENBERG, Kindergarten
Rachel Eisenberg, a graduate student at Lesley University, will soon earn her Masters degree in elementary education, specializing in art education.
ERICA GILEFSKY, Grade One
Erica is a certified elementary school teacher who earned her Masters degree in education from Cambridge College in 2001.
MARCIA EISENBERG, Grade Two
Marcia is studying elementary education at Boston University, and was recently a Teen Director at Camp Hadar.
BRYANNE MAHONEY, Grade Two
Bryanne, a second year veteran of Temple Sinai, has previously worked at "Facing History and Ourselves" and recently returned from a travel/study program in Israel.
NOA SILVER, Grade Three
Noa, a former Hebrew tutor at Temple Sinai, is a student at Harvard University.
ESTER ("ETTI") MARTEL, Grade Four (Sunday)
A four year veteran of Temple Sinai, Etti is a lead teacher at the New England Hebrew Academy.
YAFIT ZILBERBERG, Grade Four (Tuesday)
Yafit is embarking upon her third year at Temple Sinai, and is the mother of a beautiful, new baby boy!
ARIELA SHULSINGER, Grade Five (Sunday)
Ariela, a ten year veteran of Temple Sinai, has taught at Temple Emmanuel in Andover, Merrimack Valley Hebrew Academy, and the Rashi School. She is the mother of three daughters.
SHARON SPIVAK, Grade Five (Tuesday) and High School
A veteran religious school teacher, Sharon also teaches at Prozdor Hebrew High School in Newton. Sharon is an artist as well as a registered nurse.
ADENA RAUB, Grade Six, Seven (Sunday)
Adena, a student at Harvard Graduate School of Education, recently planned and supervised an Israel trip for thirty teenagers.
ALLYSON MARVIN, Grade Six, Seven (Tuesday)
Allyson will receive her Masters degree from Boston University this spring.
She also teaches religious school at Congregation Beth Elohim in Acton.
AMY GOODMAN, High School
Amy is returning for her fourth year at Temple Sinai, and taught at Temple Shir Tikva with Rabbi Vogel!
MISHY HARMAN, Hebrew Tutor
Mishy, a senior at Harvard University and a former sergeant in the Israeli army, has worked as a Hebrew and Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutor in the Boston area.
SHLOMIT PEER, Music Teacher
A graduate of the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, Shlomit has performed with the Jerusalem Symphony and Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.
She is an experienced piano teacher, vocal coach, musical director and accompanist.
AMY SALINGER, Jewish Life Educator
Amy graduated from Simmons College with a B.A. in elementary education, and from Wheelock College with an M.S. in early childhood education. The mother of three children, she currently works as a pre-school teacher.
SUSAN MCSWEENEY, Youth Advisor
Susan, a psychotherapist, has a Masters degree in counseling psychology, and has been working in private practice for over twenty years. A former first grade religious school teacher, she also served for four years as a youth group advisor for a congregation on Boston's south shore.
