Weekly Shabbat Info Temple Sinai generally celebrates Shabbat each week on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. with an Erev Shabbat service in our Sanctuary.  Once a month (on the second Friday of the month), Temple Sinai Shabbat services start at 6 p.m. as part of our "Shabbat at Six!" program, instead of 7:30. Please read the note below and check our calendar to verify the time of the service you are attending.

Shabbat services are always open to the entire community!  Please feel free to come and join us!

“Shabbat @ Six!” is for everyone!

Join us in the Sanctuary on the 2nd Friday of each month at 6:00 p.m. for a one-hour Erev Shabbat service for our entire congregation.  This new service takes the place of our 7:30 p.m. service once a month, and allows those who are unable to attend services at the regular time to join us.  Because the 6:00 p.m. service is earlier, it also allows members of Temple Sinai to go home at 7:00 p.m. and enjoy a relaxing Shabbat dinner with friends.   The Music, Prayer & Ritual Committee encourages you to join us for services and then to invite friends over for Shabbat dinner or do “take-out” following the service at 7:00 p.m.

Summer Services

During the months of July and August, informal Erev Shabbat services are held at 6:15 p.m. at Temple Sinai.

Saturday morning Shabbat services

Our community gathers for Shabbat morning services frequently during the year at 10:30 a.m., but not on every week. Please consult the Temple calendar to find out when we have Shabbat morning services.
