Today is September 21st, 2017 -
Once a month on Sunday mornings, children ages 3-4 years old may participate in our free K’tonton program, an interactive, drop-off program Temple Sinai has run for more than 20 years. Children are introduced to the religious school experience through arts and crafts, music and song, stories and games. Your child will learn about Jewish holidays and values, and make new friends. Led by veteran teacher Karen Halfon, this ‘kids only’ program is free of charge and open to the community. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. Questions? Call 617-277-5883. Sessions will meet on 9/17, 10/15, 11/12, 12/10, 1/21, 2/11, 3/11, 4/8 and 5/6.
Families with young children ages 0-7 are invited to join Rabbi Shoshana Friedman in the Sanctuary once a month on Saturday mornings, for an interactive Shabbat morning service with singing and storytelling. A lively 30-minute service is followed by an informal Shabbat morning Oneg in our Library, with grape juice, challah and a snack (as well as informal schmoozing time for parents), concluding at 10:00 a.m.. This is a perfect way to introduce your child to the synagogue, Jewish songs and prayers. Click here for the calendar for our next Shabbat Mishpacha service: https://www.sinaibrookline.org/calendar/.
